After the fun of last year’s Valentine’s cards, I wanted to come up with another entertaining idea for this year’s cards. Of course this idea is definitely not an original one, but it was fun tweaking the currently popular “moustache” theme to fit my vision. I bought a giant pack of stick-on moustaches from Amazon, bribed the kids with an outdoor picnic so they’d let me take their photos, and we had a super-quick 5 minute photo shoot. I made these into a double-sided 5×7 press printed card with my favorite images, and we will give these out at school (with the extra moustaches, of course!) on Valentine’s day. If you don’t want to spend time designing a card or want the expense of press printing, you could easily take a snapshot of your child with the moustache on, holding a chalkboard or sign with the “I moustache you a question…” sentiment and print off at your favorite local photo printer. Easy, fun, and cute!

Carol is a total natural in front of the camera, with a personality to match her outer beauty. We had a great time wandering around the Belmont campus for her senior portraits. You have to love a girl who is willing to climb a tree for the very first photo of the session!
